You Come First

Quote For This Week:

As long as you are sure about what you are doing, let the opinions of others go to hell.

Its Meaning:
This quote says that when you’re sure about what you’re doing in your life, the opinions of others can’t and shouldn’t matter. After all, it’s your life and not theirs. They don’t know your whole story, how you reached where you are, your struggles, your ambitions, or your goals. So you must never pay attention to what others think about you. What you think of yourself, is what matters.

Our Thoughts On It:
You have a lot of choices to make in your life and you have all rights to make those choices, but only you have the rights to do so. As long as you are confident about what you are doing, don’t care about what other people say. It’s your life at the end of the day and if it is anything good/bad, you are the ones to suffer it. So, don’t let others make it worse by letting them poke their noses into your life. Don’t let them dictate what you do.

If you let the opinions of others take the position above your own opinions, you’ll be utterly confused. Everyone’s different, everyone’s opinion is different, and the people who are so invested in your life to form their opinions aren’t the ones you should be taking advice or opinions from anyways. If you ignore such people, you’ll be much happier and clearer about what you need to do in your life. You know what’s important for you, but they don’t.
An important thing to note here is, we are talking about the people who usually pass unnecessary judgements, not the ones who are close to you and actually care about you.

It’s all about suggestions and not opinions. If anyone wants you to make a particular choice, they can give you a suggestion. So, accept suggestions and even if someone tells you they want you to make some choice, tell them that you’ll take it as a suggestion, think over whether it benefits you and then, you will accept that suggestion. If not, then you will stick with your opinion. This way, you can avoid unnecessary, potentially bad opinions and have a clear decision.

Final Message:
Lastly, we’d simply like to advise you to just not care about what others think about you. Ignorance can sometimes be really helpful. You are able to make decisions and make it yourself by taking suggestions from others, not obeying their opinions.
Frankly, such people change their opinions a 100 times everyday and then you’ll feel bad for paying attention to what they thought, rather than what you did. Put yourself and your decisions first.
