The Meaning of the Quote:
Today’s quote focuses on being patient with how you’re becoming the person you want to be. It tells you to not rush things, go slow, at your own pace, and that everything will fall into place. It tells you to give yourself time, for your needs, and for you to grow, just like how a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly.
Our Thoughts on It:
Time is the most beautiful yet annoying thing according to most people. Time is annoying when you’re not patient enough. Here, the quote tells you to make some time for yourself and go slow in achieving your dreams. Don’t panic, don’t hurry. Hurry always ends up in worry. From the day you were born, you grew everyday but you didn’t grow up in just one day. That’s what this quote means. Growth always takes time.
If we look at nature, we see that everything takes place in its own time. Just like that, in the process of you growing into a better person, everything will happen in its own time. You don’t need to rush. You’re not competing against anyone. This is your journey. Being patient, and focusing more on the process than on the outcome will be more beneficial for you, and bring you more happiness than the other way around. To be honest, there actually is no real outcome or “goal” in the process of growth. Growing and becoming better is a continuous process that you can do everyday, and there’d still be room for you to improve.
Many of us have a mentality to be able to have quick growth, but is it possible? Ask yourself. Will you be the person you want to be and live the life you want to live tomorrow if you decide today? Well, not really. There’s time needed for everything, especially if you have big goals. An advantage of not rushing is you will get more time to see the growth and feel happy about it. For example, if you have one follower on Instagram today and one million tomorrow, you might feel happy about it but for how long? Quite a short period of time. But when you grow daily with a gradual increase in followers, it allows you to see the growth, feel happy about it, even change what you are doing a bit and feel dedicated towards it.
Final Thoughts:
The fact of the matter is that everything takes time, and you need to give it that time. This doesn’t mean that you will sit around and just wait for your growth and improvement to happen on their own. You need to make efforts too, but do not focus too much on the end goal, rather focus on what you’re doing today to reach where you need to be.
