Problems We All Face While Working

Comfort Zone and Loss of Motivation:

First of all, working is tiring. We just want to relax. So, we feel strange about coming out of our comfort zone sometimes. Oh, how we could be now, watching a movie, snacking on something, and enjoying life. Again, we forget that to enjoy, we have to work. Coming out of your comfort zone is something you have to do in order to succeed with what you are doing. You have to work but make it fun. That must be step #1.

After that, one of the major problems we face is, the excitement with which you started, dies down, and becomes almost zero. We start to feel intimidated by the route we set out on. Where will I go with this plan? What road will it take me on? What if this isn’t the best thing I can do with my time? We ask these questions and actually feel like we don’t want to do it, but we forget that this is something we wanted to do, and we can make it the best thing we’ve ever done, only if we dedicate time to it. Remember why you started.

Coming after that is the feeling of not wanting to continue on the path you originally started on, either because you don’t see results or because of lack of motivation. Here we’d like to state that motivation is always temporary. You gotta have a drive, a burning desire to achieve your goal. Only then will you be able to do it despite all the obstacles. Not seeing results is something that will be addressed under the topic of impatience later in this blog post.

Something else that might be a bummer is feeling like the task you want to do is too difficult. To battle this, try to go forward in small steps that don’t seem overwhelming to you. Break down your goals, have a plan of what to do and give it your all. You also have to realise that nothing worth having comes easy, and a little extra effort in the beginning goes a long way.

“I’m glad when something is difficult, because that means most people won’t ever do it, and the competition will always be low”.
