Life is fun when you live it in the best way possible, because life is about living, not just existing, right? To be honest, a lot of people get in this constant cycle of things where they just exist, going through life, but not actually living it.
We think that all of us should live life to the fullest and not just get caught up in everyday things. Hence, we bring to you this blogpost!
Here are some ideas which you can implement in your life, whenever your life gets a bit too monotonous and you feel like you’re just existing and life is passing you by without you being an active part of it:
Trying new things:
You can do a LOT in life, and the first step to do them all is to try them out. If you always wanted to do something, but you are afraid of doing it, is it even a real desire? If you don’t want to try it because of constant fear, you’ll die with the desire to do it, not the experience of doing that thing.
Take a leap. Try it out. Try all those things you want to do. If you don’t have any such things in your list, why not experiment by trying something new? May it be a little thing or a big jump, it’s worth a try, and it makes life more fun and exciting!
Talk to people:
Sometimes we feel we’re too busy to be talking to people we like, when we are under a lot of workload. It is important to make time to talk to those people regularly, because talking to people makes you know that you’re not alone in anything and it also cheers you up. Don’t forget them if you get busy, because the relationships you maintain will be more important than the work you may have right now.
Don’t get too busy:
Don’t ever take on more work than is feasible for you. You shouldn’t be so pressured as to not have time for yourself or for anything else you want to do. Too much of one thing can lead to burn out, so, time for breaks and enjoyment is essential. A healthy balance between what you have to do and what you want to do keeps life
Have a healthy mindset:
Having a healthy mindset goes a long way. If we are always comparing our life to others’, and being jealous of others, it leaves us sadder than before. What we should have instead is – a grateful and appreciative mindset. If we are simply happy to be where we are in life, we will be able to live life with joy and contentment, instead of sadness and comparison. Sure, sometimes it may feel like what you have is far less than what you’d like to have, but at least you have that much and can build up from there! Hence, we should always be grateful and looking for opportunities to improve ourselves, not envy others because of the opportunities that they may have.
Take initiatives in life:
One has to be responsible about his/her life instead of waiting for life to pass by. The mentality of going with the flow, can sometimes be harmful. Because life doesn’t always take you where you want to be. You have to fight against it, take initiatives, take responsibility to end up doing what you want to.
Life as an Ocean:
Life is like an ocean. You’re a part of it. You’re like a fish that is in that ocean. There are problems, like there are sharks, there are requirements, like finding food, there’s enjoyment, like swimming in the ocean, there’s relationships, like there is a herd. There are paths which life makes you take, like there are ocean currents that push you. It’s always easier to go with the current, but does that current take you home? Home where you want to be? For some people, it does. For some, it doesn’t.
In the latter case, you must be that crazy fish that swims against the current, facing all that resistance life puts you through. Every other fish looks at you and thinks “Damn! That’s one crazy fish!” but little do they know, you’re going home. That place in life that you’ve always dreamt to be in. And you will make it with persistent efforts. Do it. Achieve it. Make the other fish go, “Damn! That’s one crazy fish that achieved what it wanted to!”
